The Deep Education Graduate School
Deep Education aims to place human intelligence at the heart of systems, at the centre of decision-making in the face of machines, in order to make sustainable, responsible decisions and develop our creativity.
DEEP EDUCATION vs DEEP LEARNING
The next few decades will see the exponential deployment of Artificial Intelligence. Data is the new oil and intelligent machines in every field are “learning” to process it increasingly well. We don’t yet know how many professions and individual jobs may be lost, but all the research agrees that between 60% and 85% of the jobs that will be occupied in 2030 don’t yet exist. This also heralds the loss of many jobs from more intellectual professions and from a wide variety of fields: medicine, accountancy, auditing, justice, property management, teaching… will be affected. We won’t be able to say that we didn’t know.
It’s not a question of being frightened or rejecting this change. It’s a question of putting human intelligence at the centre of decision-making in the face of machines. This is why INSEEC intends to enter Deep Education.
Indeed, faced with machines that can learn and are becoming increasingly effective thanks to “Deep Learning”, humans must make the most of their creativity, memory, analytical and predictive skills… to take sustainable, responsible decisions: using artificial intelligence but not becoming subject to it.
Deep Education means…
- Knowing yourself in order to know and respect others better
- Being able to develop free, independent thinking
- Holding all the cards to be able to do a first job, then different jobs throughout your life.
- Remaining curious about everything, everywhere and all the time
- Getting away from “ready-packaged teaching”
